Our history

From Italy to Chile

Albano Balduzzi arrived in Chile in 1906 and continued his family tradition of winemaking in the Maule Valley. Today, the 4th generation, accompanied by a team of professionals and collaborators work daily to bring Balduzzi wines to the most demanding markets.

Vineyards

The secret is in the grape

We take advantage of the diversity of microclimates and terroirs offered by the Maule Valley and source our grapes from specific sectors:

Our reds: come from our Aitué Estate, located in the dry interior of the valley. Granite soil, low water availability, and hot weather.

Our whites: from an area that receives the breeze from the Andes mountain range. Sandy loam soil and a cool climate.

WINERY

The art of wine making

Our winemaker, Juan Canales, has worked alongside the Balduzzi family for over 20 years. Together with his team, he is passionately dedicated to transforming grapes into must, must into wine, and wine into a bottled work of art.

We employ cutting-edge equipment that gently impacts the grapes, must, and wine throughout their various processes to preserve their characteristics. Furthermore, these machines confirm our commitment to sustainability by being energy and water efficient and producing low levels of pollution.
