In 1906, Albano Balduzzi, an Italian passionate about vineyards and wines, embarked on a journey to South America, never imagining that in Chile's Maule Valley he would find a unique and privileged terroir for producing great wines. He thus continued his family's winemaking tradition, which began in Carezzano , a town in the hills of Piedmont, northern Italy.
This iconic wine honors his legacy with a limited production of only 1,906 bottles , commemorating the year Albano Balduzzi arrived in the Maule Valley.
“Carezzano” is an elegant and balanced blend of 60% Carmenere, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% old Carignan vines. It stands out for its complex and intense aroma, with notes of red fruits and berries intertwined with sweet and spicy nuances. On the palate, it is rounded, with soft tannins and an elegant power that culminates in a lingering finish.
